Theme
What we do
- Keyboard first: everything is reachable and usable without a mouse, with a visible focus outline and a "skip to content" link.
- Reduced motion: if your device requests reduced motion, animations (including the breathing tool and page reveals) are turned off.
- Calm by design: high-contrast text, generous spacing, and a distraction-light reading layout, chosen with neurodivergent readers in mind.
- Screen readers: semantic HTML, landmarks, alt text on meaningful images, and ARIA where it helps.
- Quick exit: a persistent Quick Exit button (and double-Escape) leaves the site instantly for anyone who needs privacy.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never "done." We test as we build and welcome reports of anything that's hard to use, especially with assistive technology.
